Hello, I’m Rose Barned, and welcome to my wonderfully weird little world – Bizarre Art. This is the place where imagination runs free, where colours collide in joyful chaos, and where every painting has a personality of its own.
I’ve always believed that art should make people smile, wonder and feel alive, not just hang quietly on a wall. My goal is to put colour back into people’s lives, one bright brushstroke at a time. Every piece I create is unique, just like the people who fall in love with them – no prints, no copies, no repeats.
If you’re someone who enjoys the unusual, the abstract, and the delightfully quirky, then you’ve found your tribe! My art is playful, spontaneous, and filled with the same sense of humour and freedom that inspires me every day.
So go on – make yourself comfy, explore my colourful world, and maybe, just maybe, find that perfect piece that makes your heart feel a little bit lighter.
Painting is my escape, my passion, and my way of reconnecting with the world. I find peace in colour, and I find laughter in the strange and unpredictable shapes that appear on my canvas.
I often say, “If I desire, I can paint till I faint,” because when I paint, time simply disappears. My art is a reflection of my mood, my memories, and sometimes just my love for splashing colours around with no plan at all.
For me, art is freedom – the freedom to express without rules, to explore without limits, and to share something personal with others who appreciate creativity in its purest form.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea that art doesn’t need to be perfect or predictable. Life is messy, and so is creativity – and that’s what makes it beautiful!
When I paint, I let the brush decide where it wants to go. I follow colour, texture, and feeling rather than rules. Sometimes the result is wild, sometimes it’s calm, but it’s always filled with emotion.
Here’s what makes my work stand out:
My paintings are not just for collectors – they’re for anyone who believes their walls deserve to smile too.
We all need a little brightness in our lives. Whether your home is modern and minimal or full of vintage character, a splash of quirky abstract art can transform your space.
My paintings are designed to spark conversation, make you smile, and bring warmth into any room.
They’re perfect for:
• Lifting the mood in your living room
• Adding character to your workspace
• Bringing colour to a hallway or kitchen
• Making someone’s day with a one-of-a-kind gift
Every piece tells its own story, and once it’s gone, it can never be repeated. That’s what makes Bizarre Art so special – it’s truly personal, playful, and priceless in spirit.
When you buy from Bizarre Art, you’re not just buying a painting – you’re buying a piece of passion, laughter, and heart. I personally package and ship every artwork, making sure it arrives safe and ready to brighten your space.
I believe in keeping things simple, genuine, and joyful. No pretentious jargon or complicated art-speak – just colourful, happy creations made by hand and sent with love from my studio in Maidstone.
So whether you’re an art lover, a first-time buyer, or someone looking for something fun and different, I hope my work brings a smile to your face and a little light into your day.
